Mad at TV

I know it isn't rational to be mad at TV, but I'm ..... well ..... Mad at TV. I wanted to watch the NASCAR race at Richmond Saturday night. But we were going out of town. So I set the VCR to record the race. I set it correctly, but the race went into a rain delay shortly after getting started and they postponed it until the following afternoon. But I was without cable TV and didn't know about the postponement. We were driving home at the time of the race and got here after it was over. I missed it completely. Now I know that sometimes they re-broadcast races, but when? The schedule in the paper was made up before the race, and never covers delayed sports events or late breaking news anyway. So I just missed the race. Over the last few years, I have determine that setting the VCR for a race seldom succeeds more than one time out of three. Howard
