There is a joke in here somewhere, so just keep reading. I was down in Middle Tennessee for a few days and it rained gatos y perros*. In Nashville, they were having a concert in a park at the foot of Broadway. There were all kinds of bands with wierd names playing on several stages. Considering the mud that resulted from all that rain and a million feet (slight exaggeration)it sort of reminded you of Woodstock. No, I wan't there, but the local TV stations covered it very well. At one point, a news reporter was interviewing one of the performers and asked, "So how do you like singing in the rain?" Without so much as a pause, he replied, "Great movie! Grrrrrreat movie." I am not making any of this up. Nashville has always had lots of good outdoor entertainment, and a little rain doesn't matter. Well, to be totally honest, this wasn't a little rain. In was a frog-choaking downpour, and where I was, about 30 miles southeast of Nashville, there was lightning and almost continuous thunder. It varied from 3 inches to 7 in some areas, and an unlucky few got large hail. Did you notice the joke, or did you slip right past it? Some jokes actually happen, y'know. Howard * I had to throw in a little Spanish on Cinco de Mayo. Now perro with two r's means dog, but with one r, it means however. Right? H
