And they really exist. National Public Radio did a spot last year on a group of guys who get together yearly because they share the same name. If i remember correctly, some of these clubs have grown into societies with 100s of members.

It sounds like a more reason to start a club than the usual common-interest bonds like sandlot baseball or community service.
