I get the impression that drivers in Europe have a better selection than we have here. We can't even buy a Peugeot anymore, and the market is flooded with SUV's that I call "Super Egomobiles."

Very little of the German technology seeps through to American Fords. The last Ford I had was a 74 Maverick that was trouble from day one and was completely worn out at 109,000 miles. I had to pound it into gear with my fist. When I say that was my last Ford, I really mean last.
