Well, for my part, I don't really know why I keep a journal. I've never kept a diary in my life - I've tried, but after a day or two, I lose interest. I even tried keeping an on-line journal a couple of years ago, that I couldn't be bothered to keep up.

On the other hand, LJ gives me a (mostly) known audience. Essentially, I can use it to say things that I want to say to Rinkies, but I don't want to spam the Forum with. Somehow, I'm managing to find something I want to say ever day or two, and that generally seems to be the best place to say it.
