Try an Abyssinian cat sometime. Amy loves water (well, playing with it, not necessarily swimming in it, although some Abys have been known to swim), and she has never minded me putting her harness on and taking her outside for a walk. She does resort to dragging me places she wants to go sometimes, but mostly, she's okay with it. :)
