This should have gone under another post, but I since I have about 30 seconds, this'll have to do ;-). My internet nickname has always been a derivative of "Zorro" (I *still* watch Disney Channel reruns of the 1960's Zorro show, and--don't laugh--I used to act them out in my bedroom with myself as Zorro *blushes*). When I came here, I started out as Zorro_the_Fox (don't ask why I elongated it), but folks tired of the underscores and I tired of their surprise when they learned I was female. Since El Zorro is Spanish for The Fox, I simply changed it to the female gender, and since I was tired of the underscores, I combined both words to get LaZorra, which means TheVixen. I really identify with this female Zorro, even though nobody calls me that in real life except my own conciousness (sometimes). It's almost like that's who I would be if I could. That's corny, I know...but one of these days I'm going to learn to fence, and not the wooden kind, either.
