I don't know a thing about those kinds of tests, as I have never before heard of them... but as far as the two ways of direction-finding go, I use them both. I have an excellent visual memory, and an innate sense of direction which is more directional than visual that is nearly impossible to fool.

The only place I've ever found that always messes me up is a mall near here. Stupid mall.

And I can identify quite well with the 'two ways of thinking' idea... but I'm a bit sleepy, and slightly whacked by just having watched Mononoke Hime (Princess Mononoke), so I'll end here...
