I generally looked about three years older than I really was, so I got a lot of strange looks when people thought I was a 16-year-old with a 3-year-old daughter. If I saw people giving me funny looks, I'd say in a loud tone, "OK, let's go find OUR mom." In retrospect, I doubt that message got through to those clueless people. > > Of course, I was at the age where such a thing was rather horrible. I have a half brother who is 14 years younger than I am. When people asked me "How old is your baby?" I'd hem and haw and say, "Oh, I think he's probably about 6 months," at which point, it'd click into playce in and they'd say, "Oh, he's not yours?" Then I got to laugh right in their judgemental, presumptuous faces.
