I've tried to do it. And the results are usually not very detailed. I get the basic gist of the scene when I draw something, but generally it ends up as either an impressionistic blur or a very vague, detail-less sketch.

What I find especially odd, though, is that I'm great with music, but horrible at the visual arts; yet I'm a far better reader than I am a listener. Anybody got a decent explanation for that one?
