I haven't really gotten a chance to go to my Senior Prom yet (2 years away), but I see absolutely no reason to go. The majority of my class disgusts me at dances (so much that I was a recluse with my friend last year instead of going to the Christmas dance - which I got griped at for not going!) and I don't particularly care to dance.

However, at my school, there is a sort of "Senior Night" lock-in, not sure what it's called. We've been raising money for it since 6th grade, so it's a pretty big deal. Basically, our gym is filled with all sorts of games and rides, making it a fair. An all night fair. Very cool, I'll definately go to that.

As for Christian schools and dances, at a diocesan dance I went to a few years ago, there were nuns who would walk around and tap people on the shoulder who were dancing too closely. Their advice?

"Leave room for the Holy Spirit!"
