two separate companies that hold different
parts of the information, so you actually need
to spend £2.

Well, here we have three different companies
that do credit ratings. They all currently charge
$9 for a copy of your report. It is possible to get
a free copy of your credit report, but only if you
meet certain criteria. For example, last year I
got a free copy of my Equifax credit report after
we were turned down for a card that we had
supposedly been "preapproved" for. You can
also get a free copy if you have reason to
believe you've been a victim of credit fraud or
identity theft.

Just out of curiosity, what are the two
companies Over There that do credit ratings?
The three here are Equifax, TransUnion, and
Experian.

Gri"and they all have web sites and allow you
to purchase and view your reports on-line--
very convenient"shny
