I'll back you up on that. The Friendly's
restaurants in Ohio are no better. Funny thing
is, I don't remember it always being that way. I
remember going to Friendly's as a kid and not
being disappointed with the service.

Unfortunately, I can only remember one
occasion over the last ten years or so where
the service at Friendly's was actually good,
and coincidentally, it was one of those times
we were actually *counting* on slow service
because we were trying to kill some time.

We just went there on Sunday night with some
friends, and it was typical Friendly's
incompetance. It took a long time to get our
order, and when it came they had messed it
up. Our friend's sandwich came without the
meat (!!) and she never did get the bowl of
soup she ordered. The waiter never came
back to check on us; he vanished into the
kitchen, and when he did reappear we had to
flag him down since he seemed to be
carefully avoiding our table, despite the fact
that there was only one other group in his part
of the restaurant.

I'd stop patronizing Friendly's altogether if I
didn't like that Reese's PB Cup Sundae of
theirs so much.
