Dave, It's the first picture on page 6. The scooter is red with lots of chrome, and it's labled "Harley-Cushman." The engine came from a Sportster. Notice the disc brakes.
The owner said he had invested $10,000 and countless hours. There was a rumor that he had turned down an offer of 20 grand.
You might notice that some of the Eagles are powered by Briggs-Stratton Vanguard engines. These are V-twins similar in configuration to a Harley engine, but smaller, lighter, and less powerful. They allow a Cushman to cruise at interstate speeds. Frankly, I like the scooters with their original engines. Howard
