The Testament, by John Grisham
Troy Phelan: I'm rich, hate my children, and perfectly sane. Wheeeeeeeee! (jumps out of 14th-floor window)
Troy's children: (In unison) We're all selfish morons. Troy didn't leave us any money because we hated each other. Give us money anyway!
Josh Stafford: (To Nate) You're in the middle of alcohol rehab, but I'll send you to Brazil anyway.
Nate O'Reily: Ok. I'll stay sober (Gets drunk)
(Nate goes to FIND Rachel, the humble MISSIONARY & SINGLE recipient of Troy's estate in the WILDERNESS of BRAZIL. BAD things happen.)
Rachel: You almost killed yourself trying to find me, but I won't sign this paper giving me 11 billion dollars
Nate: ok.
(Nate leaves Brazil and lots of LEGAL stuff happens.)
Josh Stafford: Nate, go back to Brazil.
Nate: ok.
(Nate goes BACK to Brazil and doesn't have nearly as much TROUBLE as the first time, because the book is DRAGGING.)
(Nate finds out Rachel DIED from MALARIA, but finally ACCEPTS her fathers BIG ESTATE CASH and gives it to CHARITY)
Nate: ok. (turns his life AROUND)
