One, because I love the recipe and thought others might as well, and two, because I keep losing the recipe, and this is my blatant attempt at not having to call my mom every time I want to make it. ;-) Enjoy! > > -Leen > > > Chicken Divan > ============= > > 2 (10-oz) boxes frozen broccoli (I like the chopped) > > 4 cooked boneless skinless chicken breasts > > 1 c Mayo > > 1/2 t curry powder > > 2 (10.75 oz) cans cream of whatever soup (I like cream of broccoli) > > 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (I like mild cheddar) > > 1/2 cup bread crumbs (I like plain) > > 1 T butter or margarine, melted > > > Grease 9x13 pan (I usually forget this part, but it doesn't seem to matter). Pre-cook the broccoli, unless you like your broccoli crunchy. Spread on bottom of pan. Spread chicken on top of broccoli (I usually either boil or fry up 4 good sized chicken breasts, and then chop up into bite-size pieces. My mom likes to cook a whole chicken and then use that. Another option, for those of you that are lazy, is to get the tyson already-cooked frozen chicken pieces and use those. Use as much or as little chicken as you like, or as your pocket book allows. :). Mix soup, mayo, and curry powder, and spread on top of chicken. Sprinkle with bread crumbs, and then with cheese. Sprinkle melted butter on top. Bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes. Enjoy!
Recipes! Now that's just what this forum needs! As a foodaholic, I think it's a great idea. If I could only cook. Howard
