You could always teach math, but you might have to learn to love poverty. Math skills are a good background for engineering and it pays better than teaching. Employment choices change so quickly these days, it might be good to get an education that is broad as well as deep. Don't neglect English, public speaking, or business. Whatever you do, you need communication skills. Even a second language opens doors. It also helps if you are a black, handicapped, woman with an Hispanic surname, but you might not be able to swing that. Keep an eye on your GPA. They tend to look at that these days.
