I'd say you have.
> My "real message", which I probably should have just stated plainly so everybody could ignore it and live happily ever after, was "Everybody stop posting crap." I don't believe anybody on this forum is "superior" to anybody else, and I hope anybody who knows me even slightly would know that beyond all doubt.
Your hope's not misplaced; we know you don't believe that. I'm sorry for using the word "superior" to be provocative -- it was like ascribing that attitude to you personally instead of just to illustrate how harsh the rant sounded.
And that was the only thing I felt was worth mentioning, because I agreed with everything else: we all want higher quality and (when possible) lower quantity in Forum posts; we all want to welcome anyone who has something interesting to say; we're all responsible for making the Forum a place we'd like to frequent. At this point I feel silly for taking the trouble to object to the harshness of the post, as if you were *really* arrogant and obnoxious instead of merely blowing off steam.
*shrug* Everyone living happily ever after sounds like a good idea to me. I'm sorry for the part of the trouble caused by me personally.
