Personally, I can't even wrap my head around the concept of the galaxy being a grapefruit and the next nearest grapefruit is on Mars.

There are grapefruit on Mars? And if this galaxy is a grapefruit, is Mars *inside* that grapefruit when we say the other grapefruit is on Mars? And what if you think of it from the perspective of the grapefruit on Mars, if it was a sentient grapefruit? Where would the galaxy be then? How many grapefruit are we talking about here, in an infinite cosmos, or are they ALL THE SAME GRAPEFRUIT infinitely reflecting itself within itself? Would the universe be easier to cope with if it was less bitter and citrus-flavoured, like for example a Cadbury Creme Egg on Mars?
