It's actually a three-day seminar titled "Unwarrented Cynicism and Delightful Quips". We will study the literature that has been most influential in developing Dagmar's penchant for humor and irony, and her inclination toward cynicism.

Please read all of the following before the seminar:
- books 1-4 of the 5-part Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy Trilogy*, by Douglas Adams
- anything by Edith Wharton (the $!?@)

Also bring to your first class:
- any daily newspaper

Fee: one box of stale** orange tic-tacs***



* paying special attention to all passages involving a certian robot called Marvin
** aged no less than three months
***May be substituted for a cruise around the world, though the cruise should not be stale, orange, or in a box
