Oh, and let me clarify that I mean absolutely no ill-will towards anyone, be they 'new' or 'old'. I didn't read any insult to a single 'new' or 'old' group in BG's post - just a strongly worded realization directed at EVERYONE. New people, old people, EVERYBODY.
The main point I picked out in that was not complaint that the Forum sucks (which is subjective; I don't think it necessarily SUCKS ROCKS AND SHOULD BURN, but on the other hand I find less and less reason to participate and post) - but that if we think it sucks, then we should DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT and not complain. If you'll notice, that was addressed too. The call is not "Entertain me!", it is "We may have a problem here. Let's fix it en masse instead of whining as has been happening."
This doesn't mean going around and stamping "Intelligent" or "Mindless Drivel of Idiocy" on each thread or post, either. Or labeling different PEOPLE that way.
The way I see it, this isn't an arguement. Or an insult. It's a little wake-up call. I don't want to see people stop posting because of this.
