FINDING the north fortress is no problem. (It's the big castle on the map NW of the start). I'm guessing if you can't get there, your way is blocked by a magical protection. Be kind to others and you may get help.

Getting INTO the fortress is much more difficult, but we'll cross that drawbridge (or not) when you come to it. :-)
