It's very simple to use; simply copy a plain-text transcript from the chat window, and paste it into the box. It will convert it into the HTML format used by RinkChat, and offer you an opportunity to edit it. In most cases, you can skip that screen and just click 'Finish' at the bottom. It'll then give the HTML in a text box so you can copy and paste it onto your site. :) > > So, if you have transcripts made up of plain text, put them through the HTML-iser and you should get it in more-or-less the way it actually appeared. :) > > There's an additional option if you want to show private messages the way Sam does, too: just click the "For private messages, show both nicks" option and type your nickname in the box. It can't bring back italics or red text, and it may sometimes mistake a /me line for an /act if it ends with "by [something].". However, for the most part it seems to work extremely well - at least, it does for me. :) > > Please let me know what you think!
I think it's pretty cool. If I ever get my webpage around I'll use it for documentations on the site, in case some people come up with useful advice relevant to my page. Unfortunatly I'm not supposed to be in a chat room, and I still don't understand the properties of it. Awe well. I can learn!^.~ -Mau(patience grasshopper)Evig
