Ooh... was that a reproach? Not to worry... I do stuff like that all the time. What I enjoyed most was the fact that *I* didn't notice it until well after I had read all the posts. I'm usually very sensitive to those things.

Though now that I think of it, I'm pretty sure I'm actually less likely to spot a typo than an honest error in spelling. Which is strange, because spelling errors are often more subtle: 'indispensible' for 'indispensable,' for instance. Yet I'll spot that right away, while 'wated' for 'water' passed me right by until about the seventh time I saw it. And it's not just an isolated incident; when I talk to people online, they generally catch their own typos before I do. My brain somehow skims over the word and adds, eliminates, or replaces the necessary letters. Strange.
