OK, I admit it. I used to lie about my age. When I was 16, I used to claim to be 18, because I was trying to impress the girls. The problem was that I looked 14 and nobody was impressed.

Once when I was 19, Lee ( a friend from HS) and started into a honky tonk in Nashville. They stopped us at the door and said that we had to be 21 to come in. We didn't say anything, so the guy looked at me and said, "He might be 21, but you're not." He was referring to Lee, who was 17.
