So, we're planning a cross-country move and have sent out requests for various moving companies to provide cost estimates. Most estimates were about the same, but one estimate we did over the phone came in at half the weight and at 1.5 times the cost. We decided to go with someone else.

Then today, a month later, we get this e-mail:

---

Dear Valued Costumer,

I was just wondering if you are moving at all.
Any questions maybe ?
I am always happy or willing to send you any of the information again. It is important
that you as a valued customer understand that there are a couple of things to prepare
for before moving. Don NOT make this a hassle! Moving shouldn't be. For business or
pleasure, you are starting a new chapter in your live somewhere in the states.

In order for me to assist you better I will need some more information in reference to
your move.
Please be advised that if a moving company does not obtain information from the
customer directly ... YOU KNOW WHO YOU'RE DEALING WITH :o). By law we , the vendors,
have to obtain an inventory list by the customer directly. There are a couple of other
things you should know.

Please reply to this e-mail in order for us to get started. Morgan Van Lines has many
great deals for state- to state moves, going on during the months of March & April.
TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THEM.

Cheers,

I can't comprehend half of this. If they don't get information from me, I KNOW WHO I'M DEALING WITH? What's with the emoticon? What are the other things I need to know? Why won't they tell me? Why is Don trying to make this move a hassle?

These people are idiots.
