Collecting things is fun. :) Why, I do not know, but it just *is*. I myself have several collections of things. When I was a little girl, I collected unicorn things. When I got older, I collected shells, rocks, and fossils. At one point I collected sugar packets. Several years ago I collected Beanie Babies (*cringe*), dragon stuff, and Figment (obscure ruling Disney character) stuff. Currently, I greatly enjoy collecting animation art.

By and large I still have most of the items from the collections of before, even though I don't actively add to them anymore. I still have my rocks and shells in a box in the attic, and those sugar packets are in my room somewhere. (I hope the ants don't find them first.)

You have to wonder why people like to collect things... it's weird, but cool.

Random aside to this comment - Ken Davis, a *very* funny Christian comedian, collects barf bags. He once displayed one in a show that had a little plastic window at the bottom of the bag for some unknown, odd reason....

Sosi"say it with me now... ewwwww"qui
