Liberal media? Is this the same liberal media that took every chance it could to crucify President Clinton and his administration with the reports of the scandal du jour? The same liberal media that has had nothing but praise for President Bush and his War On Terrorism (non-terrorism war news on page 14G)? Are you talking about the same liberal media whose largest newspaper, radio, and television chains are owned by large corporations or wealthy conservatives?

Or is it that when you read two articles in a newspaper, one with a liberal bias and one with a conservative bias, conservatives only zero in on the liberal piece and condemn the media as a whole?

Back when I was a cartoonist for the Texas A&M Battalion, there were two other periodicals that were freely distributed: an ultra-conservative thing put out by the College Republicans (I believe) and a liberal hippie-crap weekly called The Touchstone. One of the Battalion's semester t-shirts had quotes from both periodicals describing our paper. The conservative rag called us "an extremely liberal" newspaper. The liberal one called us "conservative puppets".
