My dad told me about the site as a response to my question, "Do you know of any good websites to visit?". I have no clue where he got it from. I've been here since the spring/summer of '99. I was thinking it was longer, but I guess not because that's the date on the R.I.N.K.W.O.R.K.S. Contest, and I know I started visiting just before that. I was so excited because my entry got Honorable Mention! But I stuck around because this place is so unlike anything else I've found. People care about each other here. You can be comfortable with people and share ideas that may be in stark contrast to each other, but the regulars won't flame you for it. But they won't ignore you either. You can actually carry on a conversation with intelligent people here. Not to mention Sam's(and most everyone else's)sense of humor is very similar to mine, I think. I just find his work very entertaining.
