Well, I doubt I can get it down to an *exact* date, but I do know what brought me here. I read an article in EGM and they had Dialectized a few quotes and they posted a link to the Dialectizer. So one day (I'm thinking December of 1998) I went to the Dialectizer. A few days later, I found out about the rest of the site, and that, my friend, is history. Or something.
