The man came with his tractor today and turned the garden. He'll be back later with a disc and break it up for planting. Spring can't get here until the garden is turned.

We made a lot of compost this year. There were all the usual leaves and stuff, but in addition, we had some trees cut and the branches were all chopped up into mulsh. I spread a lot of it on the garden and the turning plow turned it in. That's what makes those little beans and 'taters and 'maters grow.
