Oh well. What I wanted to say was, a "mild" climate may be quite good in that winters are never too cold, even though summers aren't that hot either, but it can get very very dull with weather that doesn't vary much. Overcast skies are extremely common here, as is rain, and believe you me, that gets annoying. Snow is really quite a rarity in low-lying areas, so when it does come, it's a real novelty and enjoyed hugely. Unless your job requires a lot of driving. A much more common weather phenomenon is flooding and very heavy rain. Basically, after all that rambling, the upshot is that rain and fog are NOT thought to be better than snow. They're just boring.
