Well, I'd advise you to look for local ISPs - in my experience, they're vastly superior to the nationwide "chain" ISPs. I know that, around here, you can get unlimited dialup access (presumably what you're looking for - broadband under twenty-five dollars a month will be a trick :-}) for about twenty dollars (I think the range is about seventeen - twenty), and each ISP offer differing other services (number of e-mail accounts, amount of webspace, so forth).

If there are no decent local operations in your area (I have no idea where your area is), I've heard decent things about AT&T Worldnet, though I personally have no experience with it. Dodge Earthlink like the plague, if the testimonies of several other Rinkies are to be trusted. ;-}
