Originally, I got into website-making (in 1997) because there was a contest for making websites run by a company, related to a game of theirs that I was fond of. I had no idea what I was doing. But I liked it anyway.

Nowadays, I use my site as an outlet for personal expression. I consider myself a fairly creative person, and I love being able to self-publish my art and writing. It's also a hobby that will be useful for my career, since I'm studying graphic design and hoping to design websites professionally some day.

But the main draw of it for me is the personal expression side. I like being able to share my creative works, and I like the input I get from visitors. I also hope that what I draw or write might touch someone who sees it in an important, meaningful way. That's basically it.
