I'd been considering a first post/registering for awhile, wasn't sure if there was some sort of procedure/polite way. Then, when I saw this thread it was just too tempting. > > > > Maz"what's the phone number for RW Anonymous?"zer31 > > Me too! Except I've posted a couple of times before this, and ventured into Chat once or twice. I found RinkWorks after a friend sent me a link for the Harry Potter Book-A-Minute (a lot of our friends are of the 'Harry Potter is Satan' mindset, and no, they haven't actually read any of the books.) Loved it so much I had to read the other Book-A-Minutes; loved them so much I had to look at the rest of the site... and the rest is history. It's been a lifesaver and permanent antidote to boredom, and yes, addiction is becoming a problem. > > Lire"My roommates are ready to garotte me the next time I mention something cool I read on RinkWorks"lyn
So I guess you have noticed that RinkWorks is a great source of information about movies, games, poetry, humor, etc. It's also a good place to toss out a question. There is always somebody on this forum who can give you a good answer. If I was to say, "Who was the cartoonist that did Calvin and Hobbs?" I would get an answer forthwith. Even hard questions like, "Who wrote Dick Tracy?" or "How many fingers do cartoon characters have?" would get an answer. I have even gotten answers to computer related questions like, "Can you use a coax to attach a PC CPU to a TR double E?" Howard
