It is fitting that I insert my response to this post
as a reply to Scotsman's, since he is the one
who introduced me to RinkWorks. I have a
feeling he probably sent me the link to the
Dialectizer the same day he received it, so I've
been visiting this place since (roughly) the
same month and year as he.

However, all I did was dialectize a few things
and then promptly forgot about the site. I never
looked at any of the other areas on it until
probably January or February 1999, when The
Scotsman once again sent me a link to a
RinkWorks feature... this time "Duel of the
Ages." After that, I finally started exploring, and
got hooked.

Then, in February 2000, once again, my good
buddy The Scotsman came through, telling
me about these new "chat archive" that were
so hilarious, recommending two in particular,
"The Sting" and "The Sting II." After reading
them, I simply *had* to venture into RinkChat
for the first time, and guess what? I met new
people! Cool people! And made friends
on-line! Cool friends!

And my new friends told me I should check out
the Message Forum because it was just as
ruling as Chat, if not more so. So I did. And
here I am.
