As Sosi had indicated in her post, you can ask me about this subject.

Peanut butter doesn't go "bad" in the conventional sense of the word--it doesn't get moldy, or poisonous. However, it does sort of separate, and all of the flavor gets sucked out of it, and it tastes really stale. Kind of like what creamy cardboard would taste like, I imagine.
