Reality and its impeccable comic timing

Something happened to me today that was completely hilarious. I think it's the first time something has happened to me which was FAR too straight-out-of-TV-comedy for the real world. If I'd seen this done by actors it still would have looked contrived.

The scene was the gym. The supporting actor was a huge, vast guy built like Arnie. He appeared to have been genetically engineered for the purpose of seeing exactly how big muscles can get before they collapse under their own weight and form a black hole which smells faintly of sweat and illegal chemicals. He was punching the gym's punching bag, in a manner which suggested the bacteria on the bag's surface were probably trying very hard to evolve to the point where they could beg him for mercy in tiny helpless bacteria voices.

I was hanging around waiting to use the punching bag. Huge Vast Guy finishes, takes off the gloves and hands them over to me. I put them on, walk over to the bag, casually punch the bag lightly *once*, and THE ENTIRE BAG AND ITS CHAIN AND ITS HOOK RIPS RIGHT OUT OF THE CEILING AND FLIES ACROSS THE ROOM AND CRASHES TO THE FLOOR.

This is the most perfect comic moment I have ever personally achieved, and the fact that it was entirely coincidental is just completely irrelevant.
