Without visible counters on each post, you don't really know how many people have read it--there are a lot of lurkers out there, you know. And lack of reply doesn't necessarily indicate lack of readership. Some posts don't seem to need a reply or comment, or just aren't in everyone's interest range. Some are unanswerable. Some are posted on the weekend, when there's not as much activity in general, so your chance of getting a response is smaller.

Even the venerable Howard sometimes has posts with no replies; but I don't think he takes it personally, he just posts another one :-)

For the record, no, I don't think you're stupid. I think you're young, and don't always quite have the feel yet for what works and what doesn't. So what. You'll get there. Nobody here bats a thousand, not Sam or any of the other "hardcore" Rinkies either.

It's natural to want to be liked and all, but you gotta quit focusing on it. Only Woody Allen does the "introspective angst" thing well, and even small doses of him go a long way.
And yeah, some people probably don't read your posts. I'm sure some people don't read my posts either. Oh well. That's life, and I'm fine just being a minor satellite in the Rinkie Universe.

You have to put it in its proper perspective.

Hope this helped.
