I've seen a squished turtle. It's not a pretty sight. I squished it, but it was an accident and I was very upset and mad about it. I was eight or nine years old, and some neighborhood kids had set up a makeshift bicycle ramp using a rock and a peice of plywood. When it was my turn to jump the ramp, the wood fell away from the rock and I just sort of rode roughly over it instead of flying through the air like the other kids had.

I don't know why, but there was a turtle under the board. I didn't know it was there until after the incident. I think one of kids got mad about it, but I doubt it was *his* turtle; he probably caught it down at the creek that ran behind some of the houses nearby.

It was a sad, sad sight, all pink and... squishy. I don't ever want to see a squished turtle again.
