Look, it's ok to stick up for what you believe. Thats a great thing to do in fact. But your post was written like so many of the SPAM we all get that we just ignore or make fun of. We had some fun at your expense, that doens't mean we don't like you.
You live in Reno, and there is light pollution there. I get the same thing in Vegas. You know what I do when I want to look at the stars? I take myself to the mountains, away from the city.
And, as someone else pointed out, when baby sea turtles hatch, there are thousands coming out. Lots get eaten by birds or their eggs are stolen by poachers. Its called survival of the fittest. Whichever ones are lucky enough to make it to the sea and survive through all its dangers are the lucky ones.
Ok, see this...this is constructive criticism. I am sure you can handle it.
