I guess it satisfies the voyeur in most of us. Who hasn't seen someone humiliated or embarrassed and thought, "Heh, that's funny! Glad it's not me." I know I have.

I also find them funny, although they're not something I actively seek out on the 'net. I occasionally get the URL's emailed to me from friends with comments like, "Check this out!"

I have group of friends who produce a magazine that does similar things and am regularly lampooned in that, so I wouldn't be too offended if it were to happen online.
