I thought of some more things, but was hesitant to post again... but I figured why not? These perhaps aren't as vitally important as those things in the original post, but they're still sweet dreams I'd someday like to make real.
- I want to make an adventure game. I've adored this method of storytelling since the first time I SAW an adventure game, and it's a longtime dream to make one or help make one. That's one reason why I'd love to work at Cyan Worlds, as I mentioned in the above post. However, doing just something like MOAT will be wonderful too. :) - Like some others, I'd like to live in/own an old house someday. Not any old house, though. I'd love to live in an old Victorian house, with a round turret, and a front porch that I could run wisteria vines up and put a rocking chair on. And with window seats on the inside of the turret, too. - I want to get better at playing the piano. Right now my skill level is something like 'slightly better than a toddler banging away', and I'd like to raise it to the level of at least 'can be heard without wincing'. - Someday, I think I would like to hang-glide! I'm scared of heights, but I've always dreamed of flying. Not in a plane, but FLYING where you can feel the wind rush against your skin and the movements of the air under you. - I want to travel more. Even though I lived in Europe for five years, I want to return. Italy is a big thing - I want to explore that country, with the Roman history and the works of my favorite bit of art history, the Renaissance. I also want to sail down the Rhine in Germany and visit the castles, and spend hours in the Louvre and the British Museum. And, of course, revisit my beloved Holland, preferably with someone at my side to share in the memories of my childhood. I also want to visit the rainforest. - I want to learn more ways with which to express myself. I want to learn fading arts, like hand-weaving (I have a small loom, but I want to learn how to use a BIG one!) and pottery; I want to re-learn the art of expressing oneself through dance. I want to learn storytelling; not the written kind but the spoken kind. - Actually, I want to learn as much as I can. I'm hungry to do so.
