I don't know about anyone else, but that happens to me all the time. Nearly every time I rise from a prone position, I get that weird blacking-out feeling. Sometimes it's worse than others. I called my mother the first time it happened, and she said it was a deficiency of potassium. She told me to eat a banana. But then, that's my mother's answer to fevers, nausea, joint pain, et cetera. Judging from the symptoms I usually have(blacking out briefly, often resulting in bruises from bumping into things), I would guess that it's a lack of oxygen in the brain. It never happens after I yawn, I've found. And it happens most in the summer, when I sometimes forget to eat. Therefore, I would say that it's a mixture of an oxygen-deficient brain and an empty stomach. But who knows? A banana may help.
