So, what's everyones take on the conclusion of Planet of the Apes 2001? The time capsule in the pod that Walburg returns on says Earth on the bottom of the "odometer" thingie (so I assume he goes back to Earth) and the time indicator goes back from 2500 to 2100 something. There seems to be no relative information as to how General Thade (who was overcome on the Ape Planet in the crashed research station) rose to power and therefore becomes a hero with a statue of himself in President Lincoln's image in Washington DC!!
