Subjectivity and Objectivity posted by Minamoon on Saturday, December 29, 2001, at 19:44:01:
The world is much more black and white than people want to admit. It doesn't mean that any one person has all the answers, but some are closer than others. Having an opinion derived from observation, by definition, isn't subjective, but a bias without observation is. Being stubborn in the face of proof of the opposite of what you believe is subjective, and... well, wrong. http://www.dictionary.com/cgi-bin/dict.pl?term=subjective
Objectivity is also the name of Ayn Rand's philosophy, on which the Libertarian Party is (loosely) based on. It's pretty interesting. http://www.aynrand.org
