Heh, yeah, that happened to me too, and it wouldn't have been such a problem coz I got past it really quickly... However... My friend in the seat next to me did not, and found it neccisary to verbalize this appending of "...Mister Anderson." to everything that Elrond said. Also he has not read the books and does not have the love I do. However through most of the movie he was just as awestruck as I was as well as after the movie.
