It's been playing for three days now and I still haven't seen it. I didn't want to go on the first night because the theatres here were packed with wittering spotty fangeeks dressed as elves and complaining about how they changed a word from page 436, and the management foolishly doesn't allow patrons to bring heat-seeking guided missiles into the cinema with them.

So I went on the second night, intending to go to the 9.30pm screening, but it was sold out. So were the 10.30pm, the 11.45, the 12.30, the 1.30am and the 2am screenings.

Until I manage to get a ticket, it's good to read all the comments in this thread, especially how "Pippin borders on being *too* silly." I like it when a director follows the original book so well.
