Do you sometimes miss a reply to a post on this forum? I always double check. First I look at the posts where they are grouped by threads. Then I punch "recent messages" and check again. If someone replies to an old post, you can overlook it, if you don't look under recent messages. I have found replies to stuff I posted days, even weeks, ago.
If you check in every day, "recent messages" may be all you need.
