I took a 3 hour trip from alabama to my old home, new orleans, to see this movie on a large movie screen in a nice theatre with a group of friends, and let me say, the trip was well, well, well worth it!

At first when I heard there was a series of movies in the works I was worried, and then when Episode I came out I became even more worried, what if this movie succumbs to the marketing that that one did?

However, with the release of the first internet trailor and the ones to follow my fears were relieved, yet still, there was a twinge of fear that they would royaly botch this up, because it would be so hard to get it right! And now I must end that sentence because it was far too long.

Tonight all my fears were whiped away, from the opening covering the history of the ring, etc, through the ending of this movie I was enthralled, I did not even notice that I sat there for three hours. It was like they transfered most of it directly out of my brain onto the screen with few alterations. Well done, well done indeed, I shall see it more than once in the theatre and when the dvd comes out I plan to get it!
